Hotel Saint Marc is a boutique hotel in 2nd Arrondissement of Paris. Built in 1971, the corner block facing the Opéra Comique was most recently an office block before Nadia Murano and Dennis Nourry, began their 3 years renovation, which was led by the Milanese Dimore Studio.

The style of the hotel is extremely unique, a refined and modernist take on Art Deco. Loosing some of the ornateness of this period but maintaining and exploiting use of colour, bold patterns and high gloss wood, marble and other rich material choices.

What is most successful from an Interior point of views is the bold use of colour and clever colour combinations in each of the 26 rooms. Nadia was kind enough to show me round a selection of the rooms so I could experience the perfect colour combinations by Dimore studio. The level of the detail of the the Milanese studios work extends from the design of palm print carpets, to curtain fabric, ornate headboards, to beautiful desks. These designed pieces combined with Fontana Art and Flos lamps, and carefully chosen antique pieces make every room sing its own personality.
